The parking structure at 7 Lebanon Street was a joint venture between the Town of Hanover and Dartmouth College. Serving as facilitator, Saucier + Flynn worked closely with both parties to create a memorable and dynamic urban space. In addition to housing 300 cars, the parking structure incorporates new office and retail space.
With close collaboration/ coordination with the architect, Childs, Bertman & Tseckares, Saucier + Flynn was able to sensitively knit the multi-functional form into the urban fabric of downtown Hanover. Tying together structure and landscape, street trees, and panels of climbing vines or espalied plants thrive within a brick veneer curtainwall system, creating symple and elegant garden walls along prominent public ways.
