Tondreau Park

In an effort to renew its downtown, The City of Berlin commissioned a Downtown Revitalization and Heritage Tourism study. The study culminated with the development of a conceptual plan for Tondreau Park. The plan facilitates access to the city’s historic open spaces, while enhancing recreational opportunities and providing vital downtown parking within the central business district. The principle feature of the park is a circular skate park designed to accommodate ice skating in the winter and skateboarding in the summer. A pavilion, benches, picnic tables, and an interpretive trail system support passive recreation while recalling an important chapter in Berlin’s history.
